Michael Carrick- Prestbur, £4 Million
The former Manchester City footballer and its first-team coach, Michael Carrick bought a property worth £4 million in Prestbury. Carrick and his wife planned to demolish an already built ancient mansion and built their own luxurious house which some claimed was “The Wayne Rooney Effect.” The couple’s plans even sparked a row with the former Manchester City star Mark Hughes which Hughes lost after his objections were rejected.
The Carrick mansion is now home to a gym, a private cinema, and a library. It is also equipped with a wine cellar in the basement and has an indoor swimming pool. The ‘Queen Anne’ design mansion boasts of luxury.
