Gary Speed – £1.5 Million, Chester

The now passed away legendary Welsh footballer, Gary Speed,  used to live comfortably in a whopping £1.5 million mansion in Chester. The property is described to be very ancient and dates back to as long as the 17th century. The couple originally bought it for £1.3 in 2005. Speed and his wife spend another £200,000 to make it fit for their family.

The enormous six-bedroom real estate included a tennis court and swimming pool. The star footballer, unfortunately, passed away in 2011 and his widowed wife put up the property for sale in 2014.
