Robbie Fowler- Manchester, £1.5 million

Apart from being an ex-Manchester City and Liverpool striker, Robbie Fowler is also an amateur but wise real estate guy. Earning a hefty bank balance in the world of football, he made sure he invested in more than 80 properties in the UK ranging from giant homes to luxury flats. The multi-millionaire landlord himself lives in a house that cost him approximately £1.5 million.

Fowler, 45, bought the sprawling five-bedroom house to live in with his wife and daughters when he played for Cardiff City.  Apparently, Fowler also runs his own real estate academy that charges you around £1k to aspiring landlords for classes.
