It takes most people a few tries before they have their show business breakthrough, but for Tracy Shaw, it came with her first television role, none other than that of Maxine Peacock in Coronation Street. Despite being active in the soap opera for eight years, her character’s fate was unfortunate as it was killed off by a serial killer.
