Charles Lawson | Known For: Coronation Street, On Air For 60 Years

Charles Lawson doesn’t have a lot of acting credits under his belt, and Coronation Street may have something to do with it. Born in Northern Ireland, the actor spent almost three decades of his life bringing life to Jim McDonald’s character on the British soap opera. The show is still ongoing after 60 years, but it looks like Lawson is done with it.

In addition to that, the 61-year-old also played the recurring role of Bill McQueen in Doctors between 2003 and 2012. We haven’t seen much of him since 2018, and it may have something to do with the minor stroke he suffered in October of that year.
