Malcolm Hebden | Known For: Coronation Street, On Air For 60 Years

Coronation Street has been airing for six decades, and its fans have seen dozens of characters come and go. However, it’s safe to say that Malcolm Hebden’s character, Norris Cole, was among fans’ favorites. He took on the job in 1994 and continued to make us laugh until 2020 (except for two two-year breaks in between).

You could spot his dedication towards the soap opera when he returned to the set even after suffering a heart attack. As much as we’re going to miss seeing his banter with Rita Tanner, Hebden deserves to spend the rest of his life in comfort as he is already 81 years old.
