Sammy Winward was only a teenager when she first made an appearance on Emmerdale in 2001. She grew up on the show and only left in 2015 with the hope of furthering her scope of work. Well, it has been quite successful as she’s played Lucy Murdoch on Prey, Siobhan Murphy on Fearless, and Cheryl on Lies We Tell since then.

According to her IMDb page, Winward has also completed work on a short film named Lead Belly, in which she will portray Emma. Now 35 years old, Winward is a mother of one. She has never been married, although she did come very close to having a wedding in 2005.
