John Cleese | Known For: Fawlty Towers, On Air For 4 Years

There are two types of people in this world: those who know John Cleese for his work in films such as A Fish Called Wanda and Time Bandits; the second, who are avid Harry Potter fans and not only know him from the few appearances in the movies but also know all of his lines by heart.

Cleese has been married a total of four times, and it was with his first wife, Connie Booth, that he co-wrote the sitcom Fawlty Towers in which he starred as Basil Fawlty—a character that he’s still known for. Soon, we’ll see him in Clifford the Big Red Dog and The Martini Shot.
