Starting his acting career in 2006, Batista appeared in The Man with the Iron Fists, Riddick, and his role in Guardians of Galaxy outshined his acting career. In 2012, Batista entered into a contract with Classic Entertainment & Sports as a Pro MMA fighter. He knocked down Vince Lucero in his debut MMA fight.
