Madonna and Guy Richie – $75 Million

We’re not sure what Guy Ritchie thought he was getting himself into when he married Madonna, but he clearly wasn’t ready for it. It’s not the fact that they were one of the most talked-about celebrity couples at the time. Or that everything was a little over the top, as their wedding was in a Scottish Castle.

What got to Ritchie was that Madonna started feeling that her status meant she had to be a hero. Over time it just got too much, and the spark fizzled out of the relationship. They divorced with irreconcilable differences, and Ritchie got a tidy settlement of $75 million.
