Alec Wildenstein and Jocelyn Wildenstein – $2.5 Billion

Alec Wildenstein wasn’t content with just being a billionaire. Oh no, he also delved in art and racehorses. But while he had many interests, he spent most of his life married to one woman. That woman was New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein.

They married in 1978 and had a daughter and a son together. Their divorce gained notoriety in the late ’90s as reports revealed their extravagant lifestyle and Jocelyn’s penchant for plastic surgery. She eventually secured a $2.5 billion settlement and a $100 million annuity payable for 13 years. Alec passed away in February 2008.
