Mel Gibson and Robyn Moore – $425 Million

Between Mad Max, Detective Martin Riggs, and William Wallace, Mel Gibson comes across as a pretty tough guy. But he’s actually just a big softy and was brought to tears when he was caught DUI in 2006, fearful that his wife Robyn would leave him. She did exactly that not long after the incident.

Gibson and Robyn Moore met in the ’70s after he finished filming Mad Max. He wasn’t a big star yet, but by the time they married in 1980, he was. They have seven children together. They finalized their divorce in 2011, and Gibson paid Moore $425 million. Gibson will star in a 2021 film called Panama.
