While there are several lessons from these failed relationships, not coming up with a portmanteau isn’t one of them. Divorce being expensive is one, and the reason, therefore, can be the same, no matter what the actual reason. Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock – $908K

The American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson and the American talent manager Brandon Blackstock have been involved in a lengthy divorce process since 2020. In March 2022, outlets such as Us magazine reported that the process was finally over and announced some of the details of the settlement deal.

Reportedly, Clarkson agreed to provide her ex-husband with a 5.12% share of their massive former Montana property, which results in a payout of $908K. Other sources (namely, CNN) have also reported that Clarkson will pay a monthly child support fee of $45K to Blackstock as part of the deal (they have two children together).
