Mickey Mouse can always rely on his greatest pal, Pluto. The beloved canine first appeared in the 1930 short “The Chain Gang” alongside the main character, and Walt Disney was so pleased he decided to make it a regular part of the gang. According to D23, the loyal buddy also faced an identity crisis because he once appeared as Rover, Minnie Mouse’s pet.
