Can you think of a more successful musician than Sir Paul McCartney? Alongside John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, this English songwriter reinvented pop-rock music and delivered songs as memorable as “Hey Jude,” “Yesterday,” and “Eleanor Rigby.” His solo career is also pretty impressive.
An all-around music genius, McCartney is more than an avid composer. He’s also an influential bassist, a creative pianist, and a fantastic singer. His range is incredible, and his voice sits as wonderfully in soft-singing tunes like “Blackbird” as it does in full-blown rock songs such as “Helter Skelter.” He’s still recording and performing music today.
