Away from the screen since appearing in the 2020 movie “Surge of Power: Doctor Who Tribute,” Tom Baker is still officially active. He appeared in over 100 films and series over the years, but he’s best known for playing ‘The Doctor’ in the long-running sci-fi production “Doctor Who.”
As of 2022, Baker is still the actor who played ‘The Doctor’ the longest. However, there’s more to his career than “Doctor Who.” He also starred in the 1971 movie “Nicholas and Alexandra,” the TV series “Monarch of the Glen,” and “Star Wars: Rebels,” among others.
