Fans of Keira Knightley would probably admit that they hoped she would end up with her love interest in the movie ‘Pride & Prejudice.’ Of course, many were swept away by Jane Austen’s story and the actors’ portrayal of the lead characters they wanted them to date in real life. Nevertheless, Knightley did find her real-life Mr. Darcy, but in the person of James Righton.

Their first meeting is not something inspired by an Austen novel because it was through a dinner party with cocktails involved. Keira had been in high-profile long-term relationships before, but it was Righton who convinced her to give marriage a go. She’d had no interest in matrimony before the musician proposed to her.
