Don’t Talk, Just Lift
Pretty much like their bigger, more-exotic parrot relatives, parakeets can learn how to talk in a matter of months or even weeks. They do so by imitating the words they most commonly hear, and they learn exponentially faster after they say their very first word.
But this parakeet is not much of a talker. Just like Tony Soprano’s “strong, silent type,” he likes to express himself through actions instead of words. Keeping up with his best friend, he developed his own version of the weight bar, and he’s using it to get some strong new muscles on those wings.
