The fame this song gained was shared with its singer Mariah Carey who caught the hearts of many of her fans. Sadly, her stardom was brief as most of her fans later became familiar with her song.

Even though Mariah has managed to stay relevant for some time with her recent New Year’s Eve performance in 2016 yet, instead of celebrating her, people badly criticized her vocals. Her career finally took the final hit when she made negative remarks towards Nicki Minaj on American Idol.
