Candace Parker plays for the Women’s National Basketball Association team Chicago Sky. She is described as a versatile player who mainly plays in the center and forward positions. While still in high school, she won the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year awards in 2003 and 2004. While playing for the University of Tennessee’s basketball team, Parker led them to two national championships in 2007 and 2008.

As a professional player, she previously played for the Los Angeles Sparks, Fenerbahçe Istanbul, and Xinjiang Tianshan Deers. Alongside her daughter Lailaa Nicole Williams, she became part-owner of Angel City FC in 2020. Parker has netted an estimated $5M from her multiple ventures.
