We have curated a list of 50 stars who are still alive and kicking, and most of them have passed their 70-year milestone. Nonetheless, you’d be surprised to learn who among them are still active in their careers and how much they have got going on in their lives!
Cheryl Ladd – 1951
Cheryl Ladd started her acting career in 1970 but didn’t quite earn the recognition she deserved until she landed Kris Munroe’s role in Charlie’s Angels. She replaced Farrah Fawcett in its second season and grew to be loved by the fans of the series.
Ladd also made sure to use her fame to launch a career in the music industry, which faded away in the early ’80s. Even though she’s almost 70 now, Ladd shows no sign of retiring whatsoever. Lately, she has made more appearances on Christmas movies, including Grounded for Christmas in 2019 and Christmas Unwrappe
Linda Ronstadt – 1946
Linda Ronstadt touched the hearts of many through her beautiful voice. However, her fans were devastated when she announced her retirement in 2011. In 2013, she disclosed to AARP that she had Parkinson’s disease, which sadly claimed her singing ability.
Ronstadt has had a fantastic career to cherish, winning a plethora of awards, including ten Grammys and three American Music Awards. You can tell that she’s got a loyal fan base since she released 24 studio albums and 15 compilation or greatest hits albums for them to listen to. Now 74, Ronstadt starred in a documentary film, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice, in 2019.
Hayley Mills – 1946
The daughter of the English actors Sir John Mills and Mary Hayley Bell, Hayley Mills started her career with promise, landing a BAFTA Award for her performance in 1959’s “Tiger Bay.” Two years later, she appeared in “The Parent Trap” and other Walt Disney movies. While Mills’ heyday came in the ’60s, she’s still active as an actress and appeared most recently in the 2019 TV series “Pitching In.”
A receiver of the Disney Legend Award, Mills also enjoyed a successful career as a stage actress, making her West End debut with 1966’s “Peter Pan” as the titular character. In 2021, she published her memoirs book, rightfully titled “Forever Young.”
