Polly Holliday – 1937

When actress Polly Holliday entered the mainstream scene, she had already made a name for herself in the theater. She became even more popular after playing her breakout role Flo Castleberry in the show “Alice,” eventually scoring her own spinoff show by the ’80s.

Holliday may also be known as Lillian Patterson from the hit show “Home Improvement,” playing the part from 1993 to 1999. However, by the ’00s, she noticeably appeared sporadically and mainly became involved in films. We last saw her in the 2010 movie “Fair Game,” and she is said to have retired.
