Even though Jamie Farr started his career in the mid-’50s, his breakout role came in the ’70s. If you’re from a younger generation, you probably don’t know that he played Maxwell Q. Klinger, who was a cross-dressing corporal on M*A*S*H. That seems like an eternity ago, as Farr is now 86 years old.
Like his professional life, Farr has also had a very successful personal life, where he has been married to his soulmate, Joy Ann Richards, since 1963. They have two children, who have now blessed them with grandchildren too.
