Linda Gray – 1940
Linda Gray truly hit the jackpot when she won the role of the long-suffering wife Sue Ellen Ewing in the widely popular soap opera “Dallas” in the ’70s. The gig brought her career to new heights and even saw her score a Primetime Emmy nomination.
While it remains her most famous role to this day, Gray went on to star in other noteworthy projects including the film “Oscar.” She also began focusing on stage acting in the ’00s and appeared in productions of “Cinderella.” Still alive and thriving, Gray graced the silver screen in the movie “Intuitions” in 2019.
