Philip Anglim – 1952
Philip Charles Anglim is perhaps best known for starring in the TV and stage versions of Joseph Merrick’s “The Elephant Man.” The role earned him a 1979 Tony Awards nomination, and he also performed during the Broadway staging of “Macbeth.”
He appeared in “The Thorn Birds,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” and “Haunted Summer.” The last time we saw him on our screens was in the 1998 TV movie “Dallas: War of the Ewings.” Beyond the screen, Anglim has a cattle farm in Tennessee, and he also established The Lewis County Children’s Fund in 1992 to benefit the region’s kids.
