Melissa Sue Anderson – 1962
American-Canadian actress Melissa Sue Anderson began acting when she was a kid while appearing in numerous Los Angeles commercials. Today, Melissa is known for playing Mary Ingalls in the series Little House on the Prairie, which featured her from 1974 to 1981.
But that was just the beginning of her greatness; Melissa went on to take film roles and was starred in films such as Happy Birthday to Me, Far North, Veronica Mars and The Con Is On. In 2007, she became a naturalized Canadian citizen, and three years after, she published an autobiographical account of her years acting on Little House on the Prairie.
