Gladys Knight – 1944
Gladys Knight tugged heartstrings with her voice back in the day, which is why she was often referred to as the “Empress of Soul.” She did her part in the music industry both as a soloist and as part of the family band, Gladys Knight & the Pips.
We haven’t heard much of the Hall of Famer’s voice, with her last song, Just a Little, going back to 2015. However, Knight won’t let anyone forget her as in 2019, she came out as the Bee in The Masked Singer. The 76-year-old emerged in third place during her time on the reality singing competition.
