John Lydon – 1956
Born in Holloway, London, the musician John Lydon is known to all punk-rock fans by the name ‘Johnny Rotten.’ He made history in the British alternative music scene by working as the lead singer of the punk-rock pioneers “S*x Pistols.” Years later, he formed the post-punk band “Public Image Ltd,” where he toured live for over two decades.
An occasional actor who contributed to hundreds of soundtracks, Lydon is viewed as a wild, unpredictable punk-rock icon who helped shape the genre from the beginning. In 2021, he made a short appearance in “Loose Women.”
