Barbara Mandrell is a legend in the world of country music. She is a singer who started her career in the 60s, but she found a lot of success in the ’70s and ’80s. She is known for her hit songs like “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool,” “When A Man Loves A Woman,” and “Sleeping Single In A Double Bed.”
The world was at her feet back in the day and she was winning awards left, right and center. She had six number one singles reach the Billboard country songs chart. She walked away from the limelight in the ’90s to focus on her family but she is still around and well.
