June Brown – 1927

Soap opera lovers can’t help but fangirl over June Brown, thanks to her iconic role as Dot Cotton in EastEnders. Well, it’s understandable since she became one of the rare few who received the Lifetime Achievement Honor courtesy of the British Soap Awards – that’s on top of the multiple other awards she’s won under her belt.

Due to her deteriorating eyesight, June had to take a quick break from filming and underwent a corrective surgery that fortunately improved her condition. Sure enough, in 2019, she was back on set and was excited to reprise her role. With her unwavering zest for life, age is just a number indeed!
