If you’ve been around long enough, then you’ve surely enjoyed heaps of movies, TV shows, and songs from the Golden Age of Hollywood up to the ’70s and ’80s. Do you ever wonder what happened to the actors who gave life to your favorite characters and singers who performed the now-nostalgic songs? If the answer is yes, then you’re in the right place.
We have curated a list of 50 stars who are still alive and kicking, and most of them have passed their 70-year milestone. Nonetheless, you’d be surprised to learn who among them are still active in their careers and how much they have got going on in their lives!
Linda Evans – 1942
It might be perplexing to hear this, but the fact is Linda Evans’s age is well over seventy! Unfortunately, we got to see very little of her on the screen since she quit showbiz after the Dynasty years. Eventually, the actress set up numerous health clubs and gyms to improve the lifestyle of youngsters.
Linda even wrote a book title Recipes for Life – My Memories, an account of the important decisions she took in her life. After checking boxes such as entrepreneurship, authorship, and acting, she is now spending her downtime in a luxurious LA house.
Elisabeth Shue – 1963
Elisabeth Shue was only two films old in showbiz when the makers of 1984’s The Karate Kid approached her to play Ali Mills. At the time, little did she know that the role was going to change her course in the film industry!
As a result, she went on to get at least three dozen credits to her name, but she is far from done. Now in her fifties, Shue is active on both the small screen and films. In fact, she pleasantly surprised all her fans by appearing in The Karate Kid spin-off, Cobra Kai.
Barbara Eden — 1931
When Barbara Eden made other’s wishes come true on her most popular project, I Dream of Jeannie, she didn’t realize she was making her own dreams come true as well. Like the pretty 2,000-year-old genie she was back then, Eden doesn’t seem to have aged one bit because we can all agree that she looks glorious at 89.
Eden had already had recurring roles in The Johnny Carson Show and How to Marry a Millionaire when she played Jeannie, the genie. However, that was the role that put her on the grid permanently. Despite being close to 90, she played Mrs. Claus on My Adventures with Santa in 2019.
