Eric Clapton, the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is a British musician known for his exceptional guitar skills. He made a name for himself as a solo artist, releasing songs like Wonderful Tonight singer, and as part of The Yardbirds and Cream bands.
Clapton is 75 years old now, with a career spanning almost six decades. However, he is still active as a musician, having released his latest studio album Happy Xmas in 2018. It may be time for Clapton to retire, though, after revealing that he has a hearing disorder during a BBC interview in the same year.
Connie Stevens — 1938
If you think back on the early years of Connie Stevens’s career, you may recall that she attracted a lot of attention on the Hawaiian Eye TV series. However, her career has seen much greater heights since then, with roles in Grease 2 and Tapeheads, among others.
Did you know that Stevens also had a decent music career that saw the release of nine studio albums and 20 singles? Despite being 82, she hasn’t stopped acting. She even played Meredith in the 2019 film By the Rivers of Babylon. Her children with the late actor Eddie Fisher, Joely, and Tricia Fisher, have also followed their parents’ footsteps.
Richard Dean Anderson – 1950
Richard Dean Anderson is an American actor and producer born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1950. He began his television career in 1976 when he was merely 26 years old, playing Jeff Webber in the soap General Hospital.
Later on, Anderson appeared in films such as Pandora’s Clock and Firehouse. His last appearance was in the 2013 sitcom named Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. Since it has been a while since the 70-year-old was last active, his fans are looking forward to his next appearance.
