Sean Connery – 90 (1930-2020)
With no less than an Oscar, an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, and two BAFTA’s, the knighted Scottish star of seven Bond movies showcased an impressive career. Sean Connery’s seven-decade run started in 1954, and it kept going until his last movie appearance in 2003.
After leaving Hollywood, Connery was tempted to return for his role in the adventure film Indiana Jones, but he said retirement was just too fun. The original Agent 007 indeed lived an action-packed life, so it only fits that he spent his final days in the Bahamas with his family. Connery peacefully rested in his sleep in 2020 after health complications.
