Joe Diffie – 61 (1958 – 2020)
When the pandemic of 2019 hit, many lives were lost, some of which were in the entertainment industry. Country-music star Joe Diffie is one of the many whose untimely passing was caused by complications from Coronavirus. He was just 61 years old and had more promising years ahead in his career.
Diffie became famous for his honky-tonk ballads, such as the hit songs Third Rock from the Sun and Pickup Man. The Tulsa-born singer’s traditional singing technique and voice range was often praised by country greats like Opry star Vince Gill.
