Gene Wilder – 83 (1933-2016)

How happy does Gene Wilder seem in this pic of him walking down the street! Unfortunately, it was taken a year before he passed away at his home in 2016 due to complications from Alzheimer’s. Until then, the public wasn’t aware of the 83-year-old actor being diagnosed with the debilitating disease.

Wilder had mesmerized us with his screen presence in movies like The Producers and Young Frankenstein in a career spanning over four decades. In addition, he had excelled at comedy! The star’s last on-screen guest role in 2003’s Will & Grace fetched him an Emmy post which he turned to writing memoirs, short stories, and novels!
