When Martin Scorsese’s blockbuster film Irishman hit the screens, the fans of Robert De Niro waited in anticipation for another masterclass in moviemaking. And they were not disappointed.
From direction to dramatics, to the use of CGI in de-aging De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, everything screamed perfection, which made the story-telling part of the movie all the more compelling. The smooth skin and bold, youthful features of the on-screen young De Niro made us fall in love with Scorsese yet again. The film now ranks in the top charts of the Mafia films.
