Ian McKellen X-Men: The Last Stand

X-Men: The Last Stand saw quite many de-aged actors for the sake of a flashback scene. Oh yes, we’re speaking of the opening scene when the young Xavier and Magneto were seen in their youthful forms.

Needless to say, Ian McKellen was de-aged using the remarkable services of the CGI. Although the use of technology during the movie was not particularly appreciated by the fans, especially the admirers of Magneto, CGI has been proven to be indispensable to some directors, bar Christopher Nolan. He is a different sauce altogether.
