Patrick Stewart – X-Men: The Last Stand

It seems that the use of two different actors for the same character in two different timelines is a thing of the past. The technology has made it possible to make anybody look younger, even the old professor-X. We don’t suppose that there’s anybody left under the sun you cannot de-age using the CGI technology.

However, CGI can often miss the mark and make the character look ghastly rather than young. Most X-men fans pointed this out when they saw de-aged Xavier and made their disappointment known. Although, for some films and characters, de-aging works like a charm!
