David Bowie – $230 Million
David Bowie is an English artist, singer, and actor who had an estimated fortune of $230 million before he passed away in 2016. His music collection was valued at $100 million as part of that total. In January 2022, the estate of Bowie sold his publishing library to Warner Chappell for $250 million. Throughout his almost 50-year career in popular music, he was recognized for his experimental and financially successful work.
As one of the greatest rock performers of all time, he sold more than 100 million records throughout his career and recorded 27 studio albums. Interestingly, nine of those albums were ranked number one in the UK.
