Novelist – Undisclosed
Grime MC Kwadwo Quentin Kankam, popularly known as Novelist, began gaining attention in 2013 as an underground artist. The following year, he received a nod for Best Grime Act at the MOBO Awards, and he was included in BBC’s “Sound of 2015” list, too.
After many releases, he put up his own record label in 2016. Two years later, he released his debut album called “Novelist Guy” to mixed reviews. Even though Kankam hasn’t had much luck in the previous years, he showed his fans a mix of his directorial and musical skills with the “ONE ONE” released in 2021.
