In 2020, Wiley, or Richard Kylea Cowie Jr. in real life, came under fire for his controversial statements, which is quite on-brand for him. Nonetheless, nobody can deny his contributions to the music industry as the Godfather of Grime. He first made a name as part of the crew Pay As U Go before he independently released chart-topping hits.

Now worth $6 million, Wiley mostly gets his money from recording deals and album sales. He has released at least 10 albums in his career and doesn’t seem to know when to hit the brakes.
