Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
While Lexi had her meeting with her “boss,” she had someone waiting that she was looking forward to seeing: Danny. While Lexi had more weight to lose, Danny supported her by becoming healthier too. Working together as a team meant that they had many chances to avoid failing by picking each other up. If we commit to someone, hurting them would mean lying or deceiving them about what you both had promised to do. Part of love means knowing that you can hurt someone but choosing not to.
