Too Much Skin In The Game
This part of the journey, where much of the weight has been lost, is a different kind of transformation, whereby the further changes in Lexi need surgical intervention. There is a lot of pain involved in carrying excess skin. For instance, it threw off her posture, made her joints tender, and gave her some neck and back problems. Thankfully, she managed to get the procedure to remove the excess skin so her health could improve even more. But what would the cost of it be? After all, it is a serious procedure.
