Cher and Gregg Allman: 9 Days

The music icon Cher has not had a very smooth sailing love life and was married to Sonny Bono for more than ten years. The two were in a duo together called “Sonny and Cher,” but after their divorce, Cher found comfort in the arms of Gregg Allman. He was known of performing in the “Allman Brothers Band” and got married to Cher just three days after her divorce was finalized.

The decision was so hasty that it was bound to end in divorce, and it did, nine days later. The reason was Allman’s alcoholism. He passed away in 2017, and Cher took to Twitter to mourn his death.
