Katy Perry and Russell Brand: 14 Months

Before the “I Kissed a Girl” singer, Katy Perry welcomed her baby daughter with fiancé, Orlando Bloom, she was married to comedian, Russell Brand. Brand popped the question three months into dating and they were married in 2010. Their marriage soon chartered into rocky territory and they had differences on everything.

Perry wanted to party and didn’t want kids right away while Brand wanted to stay at home and start a family. Brand, on the other hand, blamed her pop career for the split, blasting: “I’m associated with the very thing I detest: vapid vacuous, plastic, constructed, mindless celebrity.” He said in an interview. They divorced in 2011.
