Sinead O’Conner is a singer and songwriter best known for her songs, “Nothing Compares 2 U,” “The Last Day of our Acquaintance” and “Mandinka.” She has been married many times and her fourth marriage to Barry Herridge only lasted 16 days in 2011. The reason O’Conner gave for the divorce was pressure from people in his life.

On her website, she announced the divorce and said, “He is a wonderful man. I love him very much. I’m sorry I’m not a more regular woman. I truly believe though it is painful to admit, we made a mistake rushing into getting married.” In 2021, she retired from music and touring.
