Maya Rudolph – 2019 Academy Awards
It’s impossible not to love the amusing Maya Rudolph, arguably one of Hollywood’s most hilarious ladies. Still, we don’t think her 2019 Academy Awards look was a misunderstood joke, but rather a red carpet mistake. While Rudolph never talked about her highly-criticized dress, she was immediately picked as one of the worst-dressed celebs of the evening by tabloid newspapers such as The Sun.
A tabloid journalist mentioned that the flowery pattern was pretty, but the dress “swamped the actress” and resembled an “old-fashioned nightie.” It’s hard to disagree with that.
