Hilary Swank – 2003 Academy Awards

In 2003, the American actress Hillary Swank was about to shock the world with her outstanding performance in Million Dollar Baby, one of the best movies of 2004. But it’s a wonder she was still cast to play the role of a strong female boxer after showing up to the Oscars looking like this.

While we have to admit she’s still a sight of beauty, we’re not surprised at all by the press’s reception of her light-pink 2003 dress. It was considered “childish” and not classy enough for such a glamorous red carpet event. She could’ve done a lot better.
