Carnie Wilson – 150 Lbs – Gastric Bypass Surgery

In 1999, Carnie Wilson underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost a whopping 150 pounds in the subsequent months. However, after she had the two children, she’d been longing for, losing the 60+ pounds she’d regained was quite the challenge. Well, she took the easy way out once more and had lap-band surgery a dozen years later.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Carnie Wilson is a 52-year-old singer known for her work with the pop group Wilson Phillips. Even though medical conditions like Bell’s palsy have tried to pull her down, Wilson shines through. She is currently co-managing Love Bites by Carnie in Sherwood, Oregon, with a childhood friend.
