Wayne Rooney is a famous soccer player who played for the English national team and clubs like Manchester United and D.C. United. During his time at secondary school, he met Coleen McLoughlin. The two dated for about six years, and then they decided to get married in 2008.

They wed at the Abbey of Cervara, even if a local bishop’s office were against it because the place was deconsecrated. The couple’s nuptials was worth a whopping $8 million, but they saved money since one magazine shouldered $4.2 million as long as they had exclusive rights to photos from that day.
